About this work
Slate roofs are common right across Aberdeen and the surrounding area, and they tend to fail slowly — a slipped slate here, a nail-sick section there — until water finds its way in.
We work on both slate and tile, whether that's refixing and replacing a handful of slates or taking a whole elevation off and re-covering it. Replacements are matched to the existing roof as closely as possible so the repair doesn't stand out from the ground.
Where slates are being reused, we sort through them properly and only put back what's still sound.
