About this work

Not every roofline needs replacing. Where the timber is largely sound, cutting out the rotten sections, renewing the leaking gutter joints and repainting brings it back without the cost of a full changeover.

Bad timber is cut out and replaced, joints are stripped and made good so they stop dripping, and everything is prepared before any paint goes near it.

Paintwork is finished in two coats for an even, hard-wearing finish rather than a single thin pass.

Common questions

Repair or replace?
If the timber is mostly sound, repairing and repainting is usually the better value. We'll say which we'd recommend after seeing it.
What's included in the painting?
Preparation, then two coats — so the finish covers evenly and lasts.
